Pakistan, officially the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, is a country in South Asia. It is the world's fifth-most populous country, and has the world second largest Muslim population. Pakistan is the Islamic country. Pakistan has deep history. It is devided into two parts, pre-partition and post-partition. Let's talk about pre-partition first.
Pre-partition:
Before partition, subcontinent includes three countries. These were Pakistan, India and Bangladesh. Today they all are official and independent countries. Subcontinent was famous for their spices, clothes and other things. They used to export their famous things. When British heared about their fomuse things. Then in 1600, a group of English businessman asked Jhangir the mughal empire for permission in subcontinent. They wanted to trade in subcontinent. After some time Jhangir the mughal empire gave them permission to trade in subcontinent. They established a company called East India company. Starting with East India company, then gradually they ruled in subcontinent. They ruled many time. They replaced Urdu language by English as the official language. These and other developments had great impact on social and economic on Muslims of subcontinent. They provoked Hindus that they are better than Muslims because they were not getting too much profit and they said Hindus that Muslims are there enimies and they are just using you. Then there become conflict between Hindus and Muslims and British was getting benefits and Muslims were not getting their fundamental rights then Quaid e Azam gave idea for seprerate homeland. When Hindus realized that British want to invade subcontinent then Hindus wanted to kick out British. Then in 1857, happened a war of independence between Hindus and Muslims. The failure of 1857 war of independence had great impact on Muslims Education and other things. Sir Syed Ahmed khan took some positive steps for Muslims. He founded a collage at Aligarh for Muslims Education. then in 1985 congress was founded. It was for Hindus and in 1906 All India Muslim League was founded. It was for Muslims. Quaid e Azam joined Muslim League in 1913. In 1927 Simon comission was sent by Simon and in 1928 Nehru presented his points, which is known as Nehru report. And in 1929 Quaid e Azam presented his 14 points. In 1930 the well-known poet gave the idea of seperate state for the Muslims. In 1940, a resolution was passed at Lahore by the All India Muslim League, demanding a separate independent homeland for the Muslims. After a lot of hard work we got country on 14 August 1947.
Post-partition:
August 14 1947, partition and Independence; Muhammad Ali Jinnah became the Governor General of Pakistan and Liquat Ali khan became Prime Minister. In 1948 Muhammad Ali Jinnah died, and khwaja Nazimuddin became Governal General. In 1956 Islander Mirza became President and in 1958 Ayyub khan begins the rule on Pakistan for 10 years. It was development of decade for Pakistan. In 1965 war with India over Kashmir issue. Pakistan and India wanted Kashmir because it's very beautiful area. In Kashmir there are a lot of Muslims so they wanted to join Pakistan but in that time Kashmir ruler was Hindu so he wanted Kashmir to join India so it's still conflicted area. In 1971 East Pakistan became independent state today's Bangladesh. We lost that war that's why Bangladesh is separated from us. In 1972 Zulfiqar Bhutto became Prime Minister and in 1978 Zia UL Haq became President of Pakistan. In 1979 Zulfiqar Bhutto was killed. In 1998 Pakistan tested it's first nuclear weapon. Today Pakistan is an official and independent country.
